Job summary

Zaxbys in Conover, NC is hiring for a front-of-house cashier. You will take and enter orders, handle payments, keep dining areas clean, and provide friendly service following standard operating procedures.

You’ll learn promotions, assist with kitchen tasks as needed, and help create a welcoming guest experience in a fast-paced environment. Flexible scheduling and opportunities to advance are available for full-time team members.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Part-time: Available to work 9 to 28 hours per week
• Full-time: Available to work 32 to 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Take and enter orders, handle payments, and maintain receipts
• Provide friendly, enthusiastic service for all guests
• Greet guests as they enter and thank them as they leave
• Explain menu items, answer questions, and suggest additional items
• Enter guest orders accurately into the point of sale system
• Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment
• Stock paper goods, condiments, serveware, and beverages
• Complete all tasks with a sense of urgency, in a timely manner
• Work safely and follow all safety guidelines and procedures
