Job summary

TravelCenters of America in the United States is seeking a friendly Customer Service Representative to provide accurate, efficient service to guests at our quick service restaurant. You will process transactions on a POS, maintain a clean dining area, and work with leaders and teammates to ensure guests leave satisfied.

Flexible hours, including nights and weekends, are required. We offer medical/dental/vision, a 401(k) with company match and tuition reimbursement, plus on-site meal discounts

Qualifications

• Basic computer/POS knowledge preferred.
• Previous food service experience a plus.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on great customer service
• Serve each customer courteously, quickly and efficiently with a positive attitude
• Provide great tasting/quality food and a clean restaurant environment
• Process transactions on a point-of-sale (POS) register
• Prioritize work according to kitchen and dining guest needs
• Maintain equipment per operating standards
• Follow proper safety procedures when handling and/or preparing food
• Establish strong communication and rapport with leaders and co-workers
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
