Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team at one of our travel centers. You will greet guests, process transactions on a POS, and help maintain a clean, inviting dining area, while delivering friendly, attentive service.

The role requires good verbal communication, a willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays, and prior food service or retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous food service or retail experience is a plus.
• Good verbal communication skills are required.
• Basic computer/POS literacy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve each customer courteously, quickly and efficiently with a positive attitude.
• Process transactions on a POS register and maintain accuracy.
• Provide great food quality and a clean dining environment for guests.
• Coordinate with kitchen and dining staff to prioritize orders.
• Follow safety procedures when handling food and equipment.
• Establish rapport with leaders and co-workers.
