Job summary

The Lakefront Anchorage Hotel, part of Millennium & Copthorne Hotels plc, is seeking a full-time seasonal Busser/Food Runner to join our dining team in Anchorage, Alaska. You will help servers, clear and reset tables, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout service.

You must hold a current Anchorage food handlers’ card and work well in a fast-paced environment while providing friendly service to guests.

Qualifications

• Current food handlers’ card for the Municipality of Anchorage is required.
• Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service-ware.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks consistently.
• Patience, tact and diplomacy.
• Ability to understand verbal English for basic guest requests.
• Team player who works well in a dining-room environment.

Responsibilities

• Clear and wipe tables quickly and reset service-ware.
• Read meal tickets and deliver food to tables accordingly.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations with silverware, linens and condiments.
• Serve beverages and breads, replenishing as needed.
• Transport dirty tableware to the dishwashing area for cleaning.
