Job summary

Wheeling Park Commission is seeking a White Palace Attendant in Wheeling, WV for part-time hours. You will greet and serve patrons, ensuring top-quality guest experiences and adherence to safety rules.

Responsibilities include preparing food for catered events, serving food and beverages, operating small equipment, obtaining a WV Food Handlers Permit, and maintaining a cheerful, problem-solving presence. Training is provided, and candidates must be 18+ to serve alcohol and complete TIPS training.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a basic level of customer service experience.
• Training is provided and no extensive prior experience is required.
• Must be 18+ to serve alcohol and complete TIPS training if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for catered events.
• Serve food and beverages to all customers.
• Operate small kitchen equipment where appropriate (age 16+).
• Follow all safety procedures; knowledge of food service is a plus.
• Have or obtain WV Food Handlers Permit.
• Maintain a cheerful, positive attitude and handle guest concerns professionally.
• Adhere to Wheeling Park Commission safety rules and policies.
• Interact with the public and support a harmonious team environment.
