Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Arnold, MO is hiring a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, process transactions at the cash register, and help with stocking merchandise.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred) and prior customer service experience in retail or related fields. You must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
