Job summary

Dollar Tree is hiring a Customer Service Associate in Hollister, Missouri to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, restock merchandise, and keep the store clean and organized while providing friendly service.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prior retail or service experience preferred, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. This is a part-time on-site position with opportunities to grow within the store team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent movement and standing.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Strong customer service, organizational and communication skills are required.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, bathrooms, floors, and general areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
