Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Louisiana LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, manage transactions at the register, and keep the store clean and stocked.

Responsibilities include helping customers with questions, loading/unloading merchandise, maintaining cash security, and ensuring a safe and friendly environment for customers and teammates. This is a part-time, on-site role at a busy neighborhood store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail/hospitality preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep the store clean, including bathrooms; sweep/mop floors; take out trash.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
