Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Virginia LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience at our Virginia location. You will assist customers, process transactions, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

The role requires strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills, with physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods. Prior retail or service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform repetitive lifting and standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Stock replenishment and merchandise recovery.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
