Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Rowlett, TX is seeking a Part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and safe.

This role emphasizes excellent customer service, basic math, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs as needed. You will work with a team to maintain presentation and assist with receiving merchandise.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and sustain frequent movement throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and team members.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
