Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Texas LLC is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate in Daingerfield, TX to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle sales at the register, keep the store stocked, maintain cleanliness, and support merchandise flow.

The role requires excellent customer service, communication, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. Prior retail or service experience is preferred; friendly interactions with customers and associates are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or related fields preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills required.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with staff and customers.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
