Job summary

Azul Hospitality Group is seeking a friendly Restaurant Team Member to greet guests, take orders, describe menu items, and ensure smooth service in a fast-paced environment. You will handle cash and card payments using Micros POS, assist with setup and cleanup, and support other departments as needed while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Qualifications

• One to three years food service experience preferred.
• Micros POS experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand basic English.
• Must have good communication skills and customer relations abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests in a welcoming and friendly manner.
• Take guest food and beverage orders.
• Describe menu items, ingredients, and methods of preparation.
• Suggest menu products to customers.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables as needed.
• Verify customers identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
• Ensure that minors and intoxicated persons are not served alcoholic beverages.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, and side work duties according to station rotation.
• Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant area — dispose waste, clear glassware, wipe preparation areas.
• Participate in deep cleaning of the outlet.
• Operate a cash register/POS and receive payment; provide change as required.
• Follow company customer service and cash handling policies.
• Assist guests professionally and courteously; uphold high service standards.
• Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
• Follow safety and security policies and procedures.
