Job summary

RaceTrac in the United States is seeking a Store Associate to be at the heart of guest experience, keeping our stores clean, stocked, and running smoothly. Whether you seek part-time flexibility or a full-time career, you’ll gain valuable skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

You’ll deliver exceptional service at the register or self-checkout, suggest additional products, and help maintain food and beverage quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or in progress)
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment is a plus
• A team player who takes the initiative and enjoys working with people
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks like bending and standing
• May be required to obtain and maintain food handler or alcohol server permits, depending on state/local regulations

Responsibilities

• Delivering an exceptional guest experience at the register or self-checkout
• Suggest additional products to enhance guest purchases
• Address guest concerns with urgency and involve managers as needed
• Foster a team-oriented, respectful work environment
• Help keep our stores stocked & fresh; ensure items are available and up to quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness in food prep areas and follow all safety regulations
• Restock shelves, coolers, and display areas as needed
• Keep it clean & organized; maintain a welcoming store environment inside and out
• Complete regular cleaning tasks to ensure a great experience for guests
• Assist in inventory management and restocking
