Job summary

Global Partners LP in Woodstock, CT is hiring a Guest Service Associate to deliver a welcoming shopping experience and support day-to-day store operations. You will greet guests, operate the point of sale, stock shelves, complete housekeeping, and assist with vendor checks while adhering to safety and quality policies.

The role requires flexibility to work day, evening, weekends, and holidays, with pay ranging from $18.13 to $21.34 per hour, and benefits including health coverage and a 401(k)

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours including day, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Able to work in intermittent temperatures outdoors/indoors.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Able to access all store areas and complete required paperwork.
• Onboarding and training support for new hires.

Responsibilities

• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Support gas tank inventory and merchandising projects.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.

Our Guest Service Associate will be responsible for driving top notch guest experience while facilitating the completion of all store-level tasks.

Your Role, Your Impact

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
• Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.).
• Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
• Conducts gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours that may include day, nights, weekends, and or holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures, i.e., outside, cooler, etc.,
• Ability to climb ladders & stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
• Perform duties of the job in a timely manner.
• You have the ability to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork.
• Support GSA new hire employee's onboarding and training.

Pay Range$18.13 - $21.34

The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
