Job summary

RaceTrac is hiring a Store Associate to be at the heart of our guest experience, helping keep stores clean, stocked, and running smoothly. Whether you’re seeking part-time flexibility or a full-time career, you’ll gain valuable skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or in progress).
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment is a plus.
• A team player who takes initiative and works well with others.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• May be required to obtain food handler or alcohol server permits depending on state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and teammates with a smile and respond promptly to directions; work across areas of the store.
• Prepare, handle, and serve food safely; maintain clean and organized food areas.
• Keep shelves, coolers, and displays stocked and organized; uphold safety and cleanliness standards.
• Operate the cash register efficiently and manage transactions while maintaining cash-handling procedures.
• Be the first point of contact for guest concerns and escalate to management when needed.
