Job summary

RaceTrac is hiring a Store Associate to deliver friendly, efficient service at the register or self-checkout, while keeping the store clean, stocked, and inviting for guests. The role offers flexibility for part-time or full-time schedules and opportunities for growth within a fast-paced team.

The ideal candidate thrives in a guest-focused setting, can lift up to 50 lbs, and is willing to obtain necessary food handler or alcohol server permits where required by state law.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or in progress).
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment is a plus.
• A team player who takes the initiative and enjoys working with people.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks like bending and standing.
• May be required to obtain and maintain food handler or alcohol server permits, depending on state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, prompt service at the register or self-checkout.
• Suggest additional products to enhance guest purchases.
• Address guest concerns with urgency and involve managers as needed.
• Foster a team-oriented, respectful work environment.
• Help keep our stores stocked & fresh; ensure items are available and up to quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness in food prep areas and follow all safety regulations.
• Restock shelves, coolers, and display areas as needed.
• Keep it clean & organized; maintain a welcoming store environment inside and out.
• Assist in inventory management and restocking.
