Job summary

Target's Small Format Team Members greet guests, assist with purchases, stock shelves, and maintain clean, safe store conditions. You’ll deliver friendly, efficient service and help guests find products with accuracy across departments.

The role involves rotating tasks, cashier support, backroom duties, price changes, and routine inventory checks while upholding Target's standards. On-site, with flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.
• When guests need assistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way, to help solve their specific needs.
• Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target.
• Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues for the guest.
• Help guests as you complete workload with minimal guest disruption.
• Work in all departments to ensure sales floor is full, zoned and in stock for guests.
• Assist with truck unload process and stock product to the sales floor.
• Make changes to salesfloor merchandise displays or all departments.
• Conduct weekly price change workload and ensure signing is set accurately for all departments.
• Complete scans and system audit functions to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Support execution of major transitions.
• Maintain interior and exterior brand cleanliness and safety compliance.
• Accurately execute all fills and organize reserve product.
• Process all inbound deliveries to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Complete backroom daily/weekly audits.
• Operate powered equipment if certified.
• Maintain backroom organization and location accuracy.
• Follow processes with attention to detail and prioritize tasks.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work safely and report hazards.
