Job summary

Church's Chicken in New York hires a guest-focused team member to greet customers, take and fill orders, and ensure fast, courteous service in line with our operating standards.

You will handle money, count change, maintain clean displays, rotate products, stock basics, and support supervisors. Prior cash handling and basic computer skills are a plus; high school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; at least 6 months of experience.
• Knowledge of restaurant policies and HR procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; professional interaction with people at all levels.
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to receive money and count back change.
• Cash handling security; frequent cash drops; keep cash drawer within limits.
• Basic computer skills.
• Punctual for scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and create welcoming atmosphere.
• Take and fill customer orders within service time.
• Upsell products as directed by management.
• Collect money and deliver orders.
• Address any customer complaints and escalate as needed.
• Ensure cash drawer accuracy and count at shift end.
• Notify manager of deletions, over-rings or equipment issues.
• Keep product displays rotated and clean.
• Stock napkins, cups, lids, and iced tea supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
