Job summary

Dollar Tree in Ventnor City, NJ seeks a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, handle transactions at the register, and help keep the store clean and organized.

The role requires reliable, friendly interactions, ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and willingness to stand and move throughout shifts. Part-time schedule with opportunities to grow and contribute to a friendly team. Retail experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; restock according to productivity standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment with professional interactions.
