Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Fairview, New Jersey to ensure a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist with questions, process sales, and maintain a clean, safe store environment.

Responsibilities include stocking, receiving merchandise, and maintaining friendly interactions with customers and teammates, with an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency. Part-time position with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs from floor to shoulder height and handle standing/walking duties.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep store clean, restrooms stocked, floors swept and mopped, trash removed, and areas neat.
