Job summary

Cafe Lami in Queens, NY is hiring Front of the House Staff for both full-time and part-time roles. You will provide excellent customer service, take orders, handle cash, and support daily café operations in a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Handle cash and card transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate accounting of sales.
• Prepare beverages according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Assist with food presentation and packaging, ensuring it meets quality standards.
• Keep the front-of-house area clean and organized (counter, tables, floor).
• Ensure all equipment is sanitized and maintained per food safety regulations.
• Monitor stock levels of consumables and assist with restocking.
• Upsell and promote signature menu items and seasonal promotions.
• Maintain product knowledge to answer customer questions.
• Follow brand standards and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere.
