Job summary

SpartanNash in Fenton, MI is seeking a friendly grocery bagger to deliver quick, courteous service. You’ll bag groceries with care and help guests carry items to their vehicles.

Your day includes restocking and organizing shopping carts, maintaining a clean bagging area, and following safety and food handling guidelines. The role requires physical effort (lifting up to 50 lb) and good communication; GED preferred but not required. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• Good oral and written communication with customers.
• Ability to interact politely and effectively with guests.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries using proper techniques.
• Provide carry-out service to vehicles.
• Collect, return, clean and organize shopping carts.
• Load groceries into customers' vehicles.
• Follow PPE, safety and food handling guidelines.
• Keep the bagging area neat and well stocked.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
