Job summary

United Dairy Farmers in Ohio is seeking a part-time Guest Services Associate to deliver the signature Hi Five Guest Experience. You will greet Guests, help with shakes, manage the POS and gas console, and keep the store clean and stocked.

This role requires good English, basic math for making change, and the ability to lift up to 21 pounds. Shifts may include 1st, 2nd or 3rd; up to 25 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment, including POS terminal and gas console.
• Ability to understand operating instructions for store equipment.
• Ability to prepare DipSide items using supplies located in the dip cabinets.
• Ability to handle coins, currency, checks, credit cards, coupons and food stamps, and to make change.
• Ability to recognize numbers, count and perform arithmetic for records.
• Ability to move merchandise to shelves/displays/freezers.
• Ability to tolerate temperatures as low as –30°F for at least 2 minutes.
• Ability to tolerate temperatures as low as +33°F for at least 10 minutes.
• Ability to lift at least 10 pounds to 5 feet and place 21-pound package into a dip cabinet.

Responsibilities

• Provide the signature Hi Five Guest Experience; greet Guests warmly and ensure the store is prepared for Guests at all times.
• Prepare DipSide items, shakes, cups/cones, sundaes and related products.
• Operate POS system and gas console; correctly process transactions and manage change.
• Stock shelves, milk box, freezers; keep dip cabinet full and presentable.
• Maintain security and manage cash drops per procedures and policies.
• Keep the store and parking lot clean, safe and organized; monitor equipment temps.
• Complete time records and the Customer First Document accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
