Job summary

The Hyatt Regency Coralville Hotel & Conference Center, operated by Marcus Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a friendly Front Desk Associate in Coralville, IA. You’ll welcome guests, assist with check-in/out, answer questions, and help ensure a seamless stay with a positive, can-do attitude.

We value strong customer service, professionalism, and the ability to work as part of a team. Hospitality or customer service experience is helpful but not required; high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication abilities.

• Ability to stay calm and solution-focused in busy situations.

• Basic computer use and ability to learn hotel systems.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival.
• Check guests in and out efficiently and accurately.
• Answer questions about hotel amenities, local attractions and services.
• Handle guest requests with patience and care.
• Input and retrieve information from hotel computer systems.
• Assign rooms based on guest preferences and availability.
• Answer phones and respond to inquiries professionally.
• Maintain cash handling and house bank responsibilities.
• Assist with luggage storage when needed.
• Communicate guest needs to other departments for seamless service.
• Maintain front desk cleanliness and organization.
• Support the team with other duties as assigned.
