Job summary

The Paper Store, Inc. is hiring Sales Associates to deliver world class service in a fast-paced retail environment in North Haven, CT.

You will greet customers, explain product features, and process transactions at the POS while maintaining stock and cleanliness across the sales floor. Ideal candidates have customer service experience, flexibility to work evenings and weekends, and a team-focused, professional attitude.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in specialty retail is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to multitask while attending to customers and staying flexible to business needs.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and professional conduct.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver world class service using the G.U.E.S.T. approach.
• Greet and welcome customers warmly and identify needs.
• Explain product features and benefits with in-depth knowledge.
• Suggest additional items to increase sales using effective selling techniques.
• Process transactions accurately at the POS and maintain merchandising standards.
• Keep store floors clean, stocked, and organized; ensure health and safety compliance.
