Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays as the coffeehouse needs
• Excellent customer service mindset
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for coffee, hospitality, and being part of a team
• Preferred: restaurant, retail, or guest service experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers guest service that builds real connections and active listening.
• Hand crafts beverages and prepares food to standard recipes, customizing to Guest preferences.
• Moves between barista and greeter roles as needed and takes on tasks as shift requires.
• Takes orders and manages the cash drawer accurately, following cash-handling and safety standards.
• Keeps the coffeehouse clean, organized, and well-stocked per Caribou standards.
• Anticipates needs for Guests or teammates and acts proactively.
• Makes product recommendations grounded in knowledge, not just a script.
• Knows when to escalate to a leader and asks for support accordingly.
• Shows up on time with reliable attendance.
