Job summary

Loews Chicago Hotel is seeking a detail-driven Room Attendant to maintain spotless, welcoming guest rooms and bathrooms to our standards. You will replace linens and report maintenance issues promptly, while keeping carts organized and supplies stocked.

You’ll interact with guests, provide facility information, and uphold safety and uniform guidelines. Ideal candidates have basic English, prior cleaning or hotel experience preferred, and are able to lift up to 25 lbs and work flexible hours,

• Basic English skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms to Loews Hotels' standards.
• Replace linens, amenities, and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Organize cleaning carts and linen closets, ensuring supplies are stocked and used properly.
• Report lost items, suspicious behavior, and any irregularities to supervisors.
• Attend departmental meetings and assist in related areas when needed.
• Provide accurate information about hotel facilities and services to guests.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
• Deliver friendly, helpful guest interactions that enhance satisfaction.
• Follow OSHA safety protocols and departmental procedures for chemical use and emergency situations.
• Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
• May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
• Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
