Job summary

Tin Star Tacos + Tequila is seeking a personable Bartender to deliver friendly, high-energy service in a fast-paced bar and dining room. You will follow standard recipes, manage drink preparation, and ensure guests feel valued from greeting to farewell.

Ideal candidates demonstrate excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills, with knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and safety procedures. This on-site role requires prompt guest interaction and immaculate presentation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of FIFO inventory method.
• Basic knowledge of beer, wine and spirits; familiar with standard drink recipes.
• Organizational skills with the ability to multi task.
• Knowledge of Tin Star’s food & beverage specifications.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
• State applicable health and/or alcohol compliance card.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all drink recipes, syrups and infusions.
• Follow beer handling and receiving guidelines.
• Welcome each guests personally within 30 seconds.
• Make guests feel appreciated through your actions.
• Work as a team with all personnel to maintain an effective atmosphere and an efficient food and beverage service.
• Work with others to keep all areas always cleaned and stocked to Tin Star Standards.
• Mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for patrons of bar and dining room following standard recipes.
• Ring drink orders into computer immediately, collect money from guests for drinks served and make change.
• Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in agreement with Tin Star’s standards.
• Be attentive! Offer your assistance before the guests must ask for it.
• Always place current bar tabs in front of Guests.
• Be alert of guest signals (raising a hand, looking directly at you, etc.), and acknowledge the guest so they know you will be right with them.
• Learn your guests’ names, occupations, and favorite drinks.This will make Tin Star a special place for them.
• Other duties as directed.
