Job summary

Loews Chicago O’Hare is seeking a friendly Barista to deliver high-quality beverage and food service, maintain accurate cash handling, and keep a clean, inviting environment. You will work in a fast-paced setting, providing warm, personalized guest service and multitasking between beverage preparation, cashiering, and retail support.

You should be comfortable handling cash, following recipes, and staying knowledgeable about menu offerings.

Qualifications

• Follow recipes, cash-handling procedures, and presentation standards accurately.
• Able to multi-task between beverage prep, cashiering and service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and in line with Loews service standards.
• Record orders accurately and enter into POS system.
• Prepare and serve food and beverages per recipes and timing guidelines.
• Process payments, handle cash, cards, and room charges; balance at shift end.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas and equipment.
• Suggestively sell menu items to enhance guest experience.
• Assist with food/beverage prep and retail stocking as needed.
