Job summary

DoubleTree Suites Minneapolis Downtown is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to clean and prepare guest rooms, hallways and public areas in our hotel. You will stock supplies, follow shift checklists, and support team goals for guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has hospitality experience, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including evenings and weekends. Join a team focused on cleanliness, safety, and guest care.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred.
• Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Must be able to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures.
• Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
• Listening, understanding, and resolving co-worker/guest concerns is expected.
• Clear verbal and written communication is required.
• Hospitality and guest service mindset is essential.
• Age 18 years or older.
• Willingness to work a varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Clock-in/out on time and follow break procedures.

Responsibilities

• Pre-cleaning duties including stocking room supplies on the assigned cart and attending stand-up.
• Clean and restock the required number of guest rooms per shift.
• Assist with storage rooms, public spaces, and room deep-cleaning tasks as needed.
