Job summary

DoubleTree Dallas Near the Galleria is seeking a Housekeeping team member to clean guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces in accordance with hotel standards.

You will stock supplies, observe privacy when entering rooms, report damages, and follow safety procedures while maintaining a neat, professional appearance. Weekend and holiday shifts are required.

Training is provided, and teamwork is essential to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth operation of the property.

Qualifications

• Lift, pull, and push up to 100 lbs regularly.
• Frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, talking, hearing, smiling.

Responsibilities

• Stocks cart to ensure cleaning supplies, equipment and amenities are available to properly clean each room.
• Observes knocking procedures upon entering a guest room.
• Cleans the guest rooms assigned and ensures amenities are stocked.
• Reports clean rooms to supervisor for inspection.
• Reports any damages or hazards in guest rooms.
• Secures guest room doors upon exiting.
• Keeps corridors and service areas neat.
• Turns in lost and found items and keys.
• Adheres to company policies and safety rules.
• Knows fire prevention and emergency procedures.
• Uses protective equipment.
• Reports unsafe conditions or accidents to management.
• Maintains neat appearance per handbook.
• Performs related duties as requested.
• Assists other housekeeping personnel when needed.
