Job summary

Fleet Farm is seeking a Customer Service Team Member in Hermantown, MN. You will provide a friendly and efficient checkout experience, handle exchanges, returns, and complaints, and support cashiers to exceed customer expectations.

You will greet customers, manage transactions with cash, checks, gift cards, and cards, promote loyalty programs, and stay knowledgeable about store offerings to deliver an outstanding shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures and simple math.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a quick and efficient check-out experience by operating the cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases.
• Handle customer exchanges, returns, and complaints effectively.
• Assist with transactions, resolve discrepancies, and troubleshoot register/tender issues.
• Engage customers with a friendly greeting and positive interaction throughout the transaction.
• Process and handle monetary transactions including cash, checks, gift cards, and credit/debit cards.
• Promote the Fleet Farm loyalty program and other company initiatives at the checkout.
• Restock items and keep the assigned area presentable and organized.
