Qualifications

Compensation Range: $11.00 - $12.00 Plus Tips

Our Guest Attendants will serve theater guests, acting as their point of contact for check-in, directing to theaters, answering questions at the Concierge desk, taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and processing payments. They focus on creating a world-class hospitality experience while maintaining safety standards to ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment. They are the face of Alamo and strive to make guests feel welcome and cared for.

CORE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain kindness and understanding
• Organize and lead theater cleaning, ensuring seats are sanitized between screenings
• Manage order cards, safety, and guest needs across multiple theaters
• Launch and manage guest orders from POS entry to delivery
• Perform opening and closing duties as assigned
• Maintain assistive listening and caption devices
• Foster a positive, team-driven atmosphere
• Troubleshoot guest issues with management support
• Own the lobby and seating experience, guiding guests and communicating with leadership
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings and current films/events
• Uphold cleanliness standards for the venue
• Follow all safety protocols to keep guests and staff healthy
• Ensure a high-quality guest experience in the theater
• Uphold standards of behavior aligned with company values and policies

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years experience in high-volume restaurant/theater environment (a plus)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
• Active alcohol and food handler certifications as required by the state
• Passion for cinema is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform light to medium transport tasks
• Stand for extended periods and walk up and down stairs frequently
• Position oneself discreetly in theaters
• Operate POS touchscreen devices
• Work in a busy, loud environment with caution
