Job summary

Star Cinema Grill is hiring a Guest Attendant to welcome guests and ensure a warm, efficient experience. You will assist guests with movie tickets and dining options, seat guests, and help maintain a smooth flow during busy periods.

The role focuses on friendly service, clear communication, and a willingness to handle a variety of hostess duties in a fast-paced restaurant-theatre setting.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented and guest-focused.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting light loads.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Handle cash transactions and verify prices.
• Assist guests with tickets and gift cards.
• Greet and seat guests, manage reservations and direct seating.
• Answer phones and route calls to appropriate staff.
• Maintain balance between servers during peak hours.
• Communicate clearly in person and by phone.
• Accommodate guest requests and provide friendly assistance.
• Assist with opening/closing duties: light cleaning and stocking host stand.

Job Summary

As a Guest Attendant at Star Cinema Grill, you’ll be one of the first faces our guests see and play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming experience. Guest Attendants provide friendly and attentive service, assist guests throughout their visit, answer questions, and help ensure every guest feels welcomed, valued, and ready to enjoy their Star Cinema Grill experience.

Responsibilities

• Cash handling functions, confirming prices
• Assisting customers with their ticket and gift card purchases
• Responsible for taking reservations, greeting and seating guests, directing Guests to the theater, and thanking guests as they depart.
• Answer phones throughout the shift and direct calls to appropriate personnel as necessary.
• Greeting, seating guests, while maintaining a balanced rotation between servers
• Clear and prompt communication, both face-to-face and over the phone
• Eager and happy to accommodate all guests’ requests
• Additional opening and closing side work-related job duties: cleaning, stocking, setting up host stand for next shift.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant/ host experience preferred
• High School diploma or GED
• Able to multi-task
• Ability to stand for long period so time, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Customer service focused and solution oriented
• Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs
• Food handler's card may be required according to local and or state regulations
