Culinary Khancepts is hiring a Bartender for Star Cinema Grill in Houston. You’ll create memorable guest experiences by crafting cocktails, pouring wine and beer, and engaging with guests while supporting the service team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in fine dining or casual dining hospitality preferred.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced bar environment and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide full bar service including wine, beer, and cocktails.

• Maintain a clean, organized bar and assist service staff.

Job Summary

As a Bartender at Star Cinema Grill, you’ll create memorable guest experiences by delivering exceptional hospitality and crafting high-quality cocktails and beverages. Bartenders engage with guests, maintain a clean and organized bar, and work alongside the service team to deliver a seamless dining and entertainment experience.

Key Bartender Responsibilities

• Full bar service, including wine, beer and craft cocktails
• Assess guests' needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Nurture a positive guest experience
• Check guest identification
• Adhere to state regulation for Food and Beverage service
• Handling cash and credit transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to guests.
• Maintain a clean work space
• Maintain daily prep lists

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Able to multi-task
• Ability to stand for long period so time, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Customer service focused and solution oriented
• Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs
• Food handler's card may be required according to local and or state regulations
