Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol Guest Assistance) in Saint Louis, MO. You will monitor facilities, greet employees and visitors, and respond to incidents while upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws/regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution facilities, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle information.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Observe package handling and facility activity for potential policy concerns, report suspicious activity, and maintain clear communication with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
