Job summary

French Lick Resort is seeking an Environmental Services Attendant to uphold high cleanliness standards in assigned guest areas. You will support room attendants and stock linen closets while maintaining safety and guest satisfaction.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma and are able to work nights, holidays, and weekends. The role requires standing for extended periods and interacting positively with guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma (HSED)
• Must be at least 21 years of age upon employment
• Must be able to obtain and retain valid gaming license if applicable
• Must be able to work on feet for an extended period of time
• Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with customers and employees
• Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
• Must be able to work nights, holidays and weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of guest areas with dusting, vacuuming, and polishing
• Assist room attendants with heavy lifting and trash removal
• Stock linen closets and ensure supplies are available
• Maintain linen closet organization and cleanliness
• Clean stairways, fixtures, and equipment; report safety hazards
• Follow safety protocols and Bloodborne Pathogens procedures
• Provide courteous, helpful service to guests and coworkers
