Job summary

Target is hiring an On-Demand Team Member to support guest service and store operations. You will pick up shifts via the myTime scheduling app, create your own schedule, and stay engaged to help guests across multiple areas of the store.

You’ll attend Welcome orientation, complete structured training, and then continue to contribute by delivering friendly, accurate assistance and efficient service to guests.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a service culture by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete tasks.
• When guests need assistance, engage to help solve their needs.
• Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services to resolve issues.
• Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose Target.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately and safely.
• Work to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Know benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment.
• Understand and show guests how to use Wallet and the Target App.
• Handle returns following prompts and escalate with leaders as needed.
• De-escalate situations with leaders as needed.
• Deliver easy and accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, Registry.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area.
• Stock supplies during store hours.
• Demonstrate safety and compliance.
• Support guest services such as OPU, Drive-Up orders and returns, compliant with laws.
• Support Cash Office processes as needed.
• All other duties based on business needs.
