Job summary

Target is seeking a Guest Advocate to help guests have an easy, inspiring shopping experience in our Chicago-area stores. You will greet guests, answer questions, and guide them to helpful options while maintaining a friendly, efficient approach.

You will also support other team members, manage checkout processes, and promote our loyalty programs and digital services. This role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays and emphasizes safety, accuracy, and guest satisfaction.

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments.
• Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude
• Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience
• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs with every guest and assist with application, sign-up, and signing in as needed.
• Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy.
