Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

As a Guest Advocate, your responsibilities will include:

• Communicating and interacting with guests to build an inclusive guest experience
• Problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns
• Adapting to different guest interactions and situations
• Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and services

Typical day responsibilities:

• Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
• Engage with guests in a genuine way, tailoring your approach based on their needs
• Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the store
• Thank the guest genuinely and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target
• Scan and bag all guest items efficiently and accurately
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality
• Make the guest aware of current and upcoming brand launches
• Understand and show guests how to use Wallet and other features within the Target App
• Support guest services such as order pick up and Drive-up
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area
• Work in a safe manner and comply with all safety policies
• All other duties based on business needs

Basic expectations:

• Accurate cash register operations and cash transactions

• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift
