ShuffieldLowman in Orlando seeks a Guardianship/Elder Law Associate to handle complex guardianship work for high-net-worth clients.

The candidate will manage a full caseload, engage in intake, draft pleadings, and appear in court across Florida. Strong negotiation, communication, and multi-tasking skills are required, with a focus on attention to detail and client service in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-10 years of Guardianship, Medicaid Planning, and/or Estate Planning experience with a focus on special needs planning.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload from start to finish.
• Intake and Consultations.
• Drafting, e-filing, and serving pleadings.
• Managing clients' expectations and returning all calls within 24 hours during the week.
• Court appearances in the Orlando area and throughout Florida, if necessary.
• Networking and building relationships to grow the business.
