Job summary

Montserrat is seeking a part-time GTP 2+3 Teacher’s Assistant in Beverly, MA. The role supports the instructor in managing demos, materials, and student mentoring during Spring 2027. The assistant will prepare demos, help maintain classroom morale, and collaborate on creating an engaging learning environment.

Pay is $16 per hour for 6–8 hours per week. Ideal candidates have taken at least GTP 2 or 3 and have experience with sewing, digital fabrication, light electronics, and video game

Qualifications

• Experience with sewing, digital fabrication, light electronics, and video game development.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage class materials
• Assist in constructing and running demos
• Meet with the instructor to discuss student progress
• Light mentoring of students in the classroom
• Brainstorming new ways to create an engaging classroom experience
