Job summary

Basis in New York City is seeking a GTM Recruiter to partner with hiring managers across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations to define great talent and keep hiring moving. You’ll own roles from kickoff to close and help build a world-class team for our AI-native accounting platform.

You have 1–5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, strong sourcing instincts, excellent judgment, and superb communication.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in a high-growth startup, recruiting agency, or similarly fast-paced environment.
• Experience recruiting for GTM roles across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Account Management, Revenue Operations, Partnerships, or similar teams.
• Strong sourcing instincts and a knack for reaching great candidates who are not actively looking.
• Excellent judgment and communication skills. You can advise hiring managers, assess talent rigorously, and tell the Basis story well.

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle ownership: You can run a search from kickoff to close, including intake, sourcing, candidate management, and offers.
• GTM fluency: You understand how revenue teams work and what makes a great hire across sales, marketing, customer success, account management, partnerships, and revenue operations.
• Hiring manager partnership: You build trust quickly, ask smart questions, and help teams stay calibrated on what they need.
• High-quality sourcing: You enjoy finding people others miss, using research, outbound, referrals, and creative problem-solving to build strong pipelines.
• Candidate-first communication: You are clear, responsive, and thoughtful, and you make candidates feel respected throughout the process.
• Comfort with pace and ambiguity: You enjoy moving quickly, adapting as priorities shift, and jumping in where the business needs you.
• Company-builder mindset: You care about building the team for the long term, and want to improve our hiring process as we grow.
• Love being in person: You prefer shouting across a room over a Slack message and are excited to work full-time in our NYC office.

We’re building the GTM team that will bring our AI-native accounting platform to more businesses, and we’re looking for a GTM Recruiter to help us get there. You’ll partner with hiring managers across the GTM org to define great talent, run thoughtful searches, and keep hiring moving. You’ll own roles across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Account Management, Revenue Operations, and other customer-facing teams, bringing strong judgment, a great candidate experience, and real urgency.
