Job description

ZenML is building infrastructure that keeps AI systems in production reliable, cost-effective, and scalable. As a GTM Engineer, you'll own the motion that turns the right companies into customers - finding teams with real problems, running live demos on their own setups, and turning pilots into paying customers. You'll be technical enough that AI engineers take you seriously and commercial enough that founders take your meetings.

What You'll Do
  • Identify high-potential customer segments and build targeted outreach lists using research and automation tools.
  • Conduct founder-style outbound via email, LinkedIn, and warm introductions to start conversations with decision-makers.
  • Run discovery calls and live demos tailored to each customer's specific situation and workflow.
  • Scope pilots with clear success criteria, coordinate with the engineering team, and ensure customers achieve measurable results.
  • Create public-facing content - posts, demo videos, talks, and case studies - grounded in real customer insights.
  • Build and refine a repeatable GTM playbook by tracking what works, automating workflows, and documenting the process.
  • Feed customer feedback directly into product and positioning decisions alongside the founding team.
What We're Looking For
  • 2-5 years of technical GTM experience in founding sales, solutions engineering, DevRel, technical product marketing, or growth at a developer-first startup.
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI agents and models; you can read code and hold your own in technical conversations with ML engineers.
  • Proven ability to move technical buyers from first contact through to signed pilots.
  • Strong writing skills - posts, documentation, or talks that engineers actually want to read and share.
  • Systems thinking: you turn one-off efforts into repeatable, measurable processes and use AI tools to automate your own work.
  • High agency and low ego; you'll build the playbook from scratch and adapt as you learn.
  • An existing network or audience in the AI engineering community is a plus.
