Job summary

Decagon is seeking its first GTM Analytics Engineer to build the data infrastructure that our entire go-to-market organization runs on. You'll turn raw, messy data into clean, well-modeled tables that RevOps, sales leadership, and the executive team can actually trust.

This 0-to-1 role will design data structures and modeling layers from the ground up, set standards for GTM data, and become the trusted source for where numbers come from.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data/analytics engineering with ETL/ELT pipelines and dbt in production.
• Strong SQL skills and experience building data warehouses in BigQuery or a similar cloud platform.
• Hands-on GTM data experience, Salesforce is required; familiarity with Gong/Outreach is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and build GTM data infrastructure in BigQuery, ingesting data from Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, and others.
• Transform raw CRM and GTM tool data into clean, trusted tables for pipeline, forecasting, segmentation, and territory reporting.
• Partner with sales leadership to translate requests into durable data models rather than ad hoc queries.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to keep GTM data fresh as new sources are added.
• Own data quality end-to-end, including testing, validation, and monitoring so Hex reflects trusted numbers.
• Set best practices for GTM data modeling as the function scales.
