Primrose School of Jenison is seeking a passionate Pre‑Kindergarten Teacher to support a high‑quality, play‑based classroom using Michigan’s GSRP curriculum. The role focuses on preparing 4‑year‑olds for kindergarten and beyond, under the guidance of Lead Teacher.

You will contribute to a nurturing environment, implement provided lesson plans, and support children’s social and emotional growth through ongoing professional development and collaboration with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development or CDA credential with plan to complete an associate degree.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for nurturing and educating young children.

Responsibilities

Overview

Calling All Passionate Individuals: Become an Early Childhood Pre‑Kindergarten Teacher! The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan's state‑funded, nationally recognized Pre‑K program for 4‑year‑old children. We’re looking for a GSRP Associate Teacher to support a high‑quality, play‑based classroom that prepares children for kindergarten and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing daily lessons using an approved GSRP curriculum
• Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for preschool‑aged children
• Implement age‑appropriate lesson plans that are provided
