Job summary

Learning Care Group in Michigan is seeking a GSRP Associate Teacher to support a high-quality, play-based classroom that prepares 4-year-olds for kindergarten and beyond.

You’ll assist Lead Teacher with daily lessons, observe development, keep the classroom safe and engaging, build relationships with children and families, and participate in family events, staff meetings, and required professional development.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development (Or a valid Child Development Associate (CDA) credential with a plan to complete an associate degree)
• Experience working with preschool‑aged children preferred
• Ability to meet state licensing and GSRP requirements
• Team player with a passion for early childhood education

Responsibilities

• Assist in observing and assessing children’s development using approved tools

The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan’s state‑funded, nationally recognized, Pre‑K program for 4‑year‑old children. We’re looking for a GSRP Associate Teacher to support a high‑quality, play‑based classroom that prepares children for kindergarten and beyond.
