Job summary

Learning Care Group in Grand Ledge, Michigan is seeking a GSRP Associate Teacher to support a play-based classroom for preschool-aged children. You will assist in daily lesson planning, child development assessments, and maintaining classroom safety.

The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP)

Michigan's state-funded, nationally recognized Pre‑K program for 4‑year‑old children. We’re looking for a GSRP Associate Teacher to support a high‑quality, play‑based classroom that prepares children for kindergarten and beyond.

As an Associate Teacher, you’ll:

• Support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing daily lessons using an approved GSRP curriculum
• Assist in observing and assessing children’s development using approved tools
• Help maintain a safe, engaging, and organized classroom
• Build positive relationships with children and families
• Participate in family engagement activities, staff meetings, and required professional development

We’re seeking compassionate, curious, and committed educators who are eager to make a lasting impact. Candidates should bring:

• Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
  (Or a valid Child Development Associate (CDA) credential with a plan to complete an associate degree)
