Job summary

Allied Universal in Irvine, California is seeking a GSOC Operator – Unarmed to monitor multiple security systems, manage access, and respond to incidents across client campuses.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or five (5) years of verifiable experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of military, law enforcement, government, or security experience.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Manage the start-to-end process for granting physical access to client campuses.
• Proactively monitor physical access and surveillance alarms and follow procedures.
• Monitor after-hours facility power outages and report to client.
• Respond to incidents per client operating procedures; cooperate with emergency services.
• Support investigations by providing access and video evidence as needed.
• Review incident reports for all campuses and assist with safety concerns.
• Operate within a GSOC environment using multiple tools including access control, alarms, BI sources.
• Detect and alert on critical incidents that could impact campuses.
• Monitor communications from client associates and provide customer service.
• Create and archive approved BOLOs for client.
• Provide calm, organized, professional responses and crisis mitigation support.
