Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a professional to supervise cash and collateral activities for complex structured finance transactions. You will monitor balances, approve lien releases, value assets, and ensure accurate funding in line with trust documents.

Qualifications

Job Description

Join a team responsible for overseeing the cash and collateral management activities that support complex structured finance transactions. In this role, you will monitor investment balances, track transaction trigger events, approve lien releases, value assets and collateral, and ensure accounts are funded accurately in accordance with governing trust documents. Working with financing agreements and internal controls, you will interpret cash flow requirements, manage asset movements, and collaborate with specialized teams to deliver quality reporting and operational support to Account Managers. This position plays a key role in risk management, regulatory compliance, and ensuring all legal and trust document requirements are met while safeguarding transaction integrity.

Job Duties:

• Responsible for cash and collateral activities for structured finance transactions.
• Monitors investment balances and trigger events, approves lien releases, values assets and collateral, and ensures proper funding of accounts in compliance with governing trust documents.
• Uses financing documents, along with internal control mechanisms, to interpret the amount and timing of cash and asset movements. I
• Interacts with specialized units to provide meaningful quality measurements to Account Manager to ensure that cash and asset management procedures are followed.
• Ensures risk management procedures are maintained and document legal requirements are satisfied.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, or equivalent work experience
• Three to five years of related work experience

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Working knowledge of structured finance transactions, investments, accounting principles, and loan servicing operations
• Ability to interpret transaction documents
• Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to create spreadsheets for simple cash flow calculations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience with Bondmaster, SEI and Access Control Server (ACS) preferred

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $64,855.00 - $76,300.00
